WHO WE ARE
The Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition (ICJC) is made up of hundreds of environmental advocacy organizations, businesses, community leaders, consumer advocates, environmental justice groups, and faith-based and student organizations working together to improve public health and the environment, protect consumers, and create equitable, clean jobs across the state.
ICJC was instrumental in helping pass the nation-leading Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA) in 2021. Now, ICJC is advocating for a slate of legislation dubbed the ICJC Platform that outlines critical solutions in the power, buildings, and transportation sectors that accelerate Illinois' climate, equity, and energy goals.

ICJC is informed by the Jemez Organizing Principles and strives to provide leadership that fosters deeper alignment, equity, and inclusion.
