Jack Darin
Climate Table
Sierra Club Illinois
I am the Director for the Sierra Club, Illinois Chapter, where I support our statewide teams of volunteers, organizers, and advocates working for a better future. We seek to build long term power, and a broader movement, for bold actions to address the climate crisis, and threats to our waters and nature, and public health. I’ve been involved in the ICJC since the beginning over a decade ago, and am so proud and impressed at what we’ve won and built together. Our work in this coalition has taught me powerful lessons, and we have so much left to do! I’ve lived here my whole life. I like oak trees and prairies, eating and trying to make great food, jumping in Lake Michigan, live music and passionate people.
