Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition Brings Energy Conversation to Southwest Side

“At a time when clean energy projects are developing across the state, the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition worked with Senator Tony Munoz to host a ‘Listen. Lead. Share.’ community conversation on Monday Sept. 23rd. The event was held at the National Latino Education Institute (NLEI), with Senator Munoz welcoming speakers from Respiratory Health Association and the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition to discuss ways to make clean, affordable energy accessible to everyone across Illinois.

‘Listen. Lead. Share’ is an open conversation to explore how communities across Illinois can work for and benefit from a clean economy that cuts energy costs and creates jobs. Drawing participation from community members, politicians, business leaders and labor membership, the campaign’s statewide event.
